CALL FOR ENTRIES
Through a selective process, the HCFF will show films that celebrate Hispanic culture. The Awards ceremony will attract the best filmmakers and create a unique educational experience for our audience, providing affordable access to distributors and a new genre for film lovers. All this will take place in Saint Augustine, FL –the first and oldest city in the US founded by a Spanish visionary.
The Hispanic Culture Film Festival (HCFF) welcomes you to submit your film! Submissions are open from April 4, until June 30, 2019. Late submissions will be accepted until July 31, 2019.
Each year the HCFF selection committee will choose 50 films to exhibit; these will include the following genres: narrative features, documentary features, shorts, and episodial content films.
We at the HCFF believe that everyone who submits a film for consideration is a winner by sheer virtue that you have finished your film and are ready to exhibit it. If chosen, the fact that this is the only Hispanic Film Festival will help you promote your film. As the HCFF is promoted both locally and internationally, the broad exposure your film will receive and possible connections to distribution outlets and professionals in the industry around the world are a huge plus. If not chosen, your film will have been considered by the selection committee and you still will have been part of the festival, and we welcome your attendance at the festival so you can meet with other exhibitors and staff and be ready for the next call for entries.
General guidelines for qualification:

Any narrative work of fiction, documentary, short or episodial content of Hispanic culture. The film can be of another ethnic origin as long as it relates to Hispanic cultural content or if the main talent or crew is Hispanic.
